Gospel Talks for Kids is based on the weekly Gospel readings. The messages in this volume follow the three-year pericopes for Series B. These Gospel Talks for Kids were prepared with the Sunday morning worship service in mind, however many will also find these Gospel talks useful as part of opening devotions for Sunday School and worship services in the Christian Day School.
Each Gospel talk features an object as a focal point as the message begins. Since most children this age are preoperational thinkers, they benefit from seeing or using concrete objects. Usually the objects are common and easy to find.
Each lesson consists of:
•The Church calendar Sunday and title
•Scripture basis from the Series B periscope
•The main point of the lesson
•The object(s) used
•An introduction, message, and closing prayer
•Directions/suggestions for the pastor/worship leader
